PowerNRG Limited acquires PowerData Limited.

PowerNRG, who partner with MAN Diesel North America Inc in many of the territories in the Caribbean region, have acquired a controlling interest in Powerdata Limited, the online data acquisition and monitoring provider to many Caribbean Utilities.

PowerNRG have been using the Powerdata-Online Real-Time Monitoring and Online Historical Interactive Database system as part of the support services offered to power stations by MAN PrimeServ in conjunction with PowerNRG.

The acquisition will not change the overall product range of Powerdata but greater focus will be placed on the power generation systems developed by Powerdata and in particular the Second Generation Powerdata Power Station system that has been developed recently. This second generation data monitoring and data acquisition system is providing a very high level of accuracy and improved diagnostic capability.
